KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

I haven't written a New York Times No.1 Bestselling Book. Yet. In progress.

In the meantime, here are few that I think are very good, well worth a read and will be useful in your pivot journey.

by DAVID EPSTEIN
Finding this book felt a bit like coming home. Like vindication for all my years of trying new ways and adapting to opportunities. My skill set can't be pigeonholed and this book underlined to me why that is not only useful, but can be a real asset. Epstein shows a way to succeed by sampling widely, gaining a breadth of experiences, taking detours, experimenting relentlessly and juggling many interests - in other words, by developing range.
by SIMON SINEK
Simon Sinek still holds the title for most -watched Ted Talk of all time. This book is based on that talk. Whether you are looking to find your reason to spring out of bed every morning, keep your motivation fuelled or get a team of people engaged towards a common goal, it all starts with why. It has been said in business, it doesn't matter what you do, it matters why you do it.
by AUSTIN KLEON
I find myself recommending this book time and time again. Getting content ideas for marketing can be a real drag. Even more so when you are in create mode and want everything to be perfect. This book helps to break down some of those barriers, encourages creativity and the all- important art of getting noticed. Reveal your process and it will attract people to you.
by STEPHEN R COVEY
This book is a classic step-by-step guide for solving personal and professional problems.  I return to it time and again, always discovering something new that is more relevant at that moment. With a holistic approach, it encourages us to live with fairness, integrity, honesty and human dignity - principles that give us the security to adapt to change, and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates.
